BASIC INFORMATION:
Individuals who wish to invest in the United States may be able to obtain an E-2 Treaty Investor Visa. The E-2 Visa applicant must develop and direct the operations of an enterprise(business) in which he has invested a substantial amount of capital.
E-2 TREATY INVESTOR VISA ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant must come to the USA whereby he/she is actively involved in the operations of the business with a substantial amount of capital. In addition, the investor must be actively involved and must direct the operations of the enterprise. The investor(applicant) must have more than fifty percent(50%) ownership of the business, unless the applicant is coming as an employee of the enterprise.
